Learning to Keep Mum

I am a writer, a mother, a wife.

Most recently I am my mother’s carer. It is not a role I anticipated – even though we are all supposed to anticipate same.  It is one that frustrate. It is one that makes me laugh out loud.

It is, mostly, one that breaks my heart.
